From dawn until dusk, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort offers perfect Port Douglas dining with unforgettable experiences you won’t encounter elsewhere.

From poolside vibes to fabulous feasts and unique masterclasses, Sheraton welcomes locals, visitors, and guests to these Port Douglas restaurants and events with sunshine and smiles.

SUGAR CRUSH

Celebrate pioneer spirit with a toast to the sugar crush, the end of the sugar cane harvest season on 18th November. You’ll hear tall tales and true stories around the feasting table as local farmers and guests gather under the stars serenaded by Italian opera on Four Mile Lawn.

SWEET SPIRIT

As a leading sugar producer, it’s no surprise that the region produces two of the World’s Best Pot Still Rums (5 years & under; 10 years & under).

Mark Watkins of Mt Uncle Distillery will lead you through a Sugar Cane Rum Masterclass in the Daintree Bar, where you’ll taste rums and learn about the intricate art of creating this fine spirit.

SUMPTUOUS SEVEN

There are seven sumptuous ways to dine at Sheraton Port Douglas. Relax poolside with Asian-inspired fare to share at Lagoon House Restaurant or take a seat at Port Douglas’ most nationally awarded restaurant, Harrisons by Spencer Patrick.

Feel like a coffee? You are looking for Palms Lobby Café, where pastries, barista coffee and organic coconut ice cream await. The Lagoon House Restaurant Pool Bar is your destination for the perfect poolside lunch, snack or cocktail.

At Feast Restaurant, you’ll find air-conditioned comfort and fresh, locally inspired food including the popular monthly ‘Seafood Marketplace Buffet’.

Daintree Bar pays homage to 100 years of cane farming with flights and cocktails made with local sugar cane rum and on Friday afternoon you can experience a timeless tradition with the enchanting ‘Taste of the Tropics Grand High Tea’.

The nightly Italian al a carte menu on The Deck celebrates the origins of Port Douglas when sugar was the backbone of the local economy and cane cutters came to the tropical north from Europe.

SAVE THE REEF

Make your travel meaningful and help protect the reef from harmful marine debris. Join locals and visitors for a ‘Good Travel’ by Marriott Bonvoy experience guided by a Marine Biologist from the Tangaroa Blue foundation to collect plastics from Four Mile Beach for sorting and logging into the Australian Marine Debris Initiative database.

SUNSET SESSIONS

A tradition that started in the 80s in Ibiza, Spain, continues in Port Douglas around the coconut tree fringed pool under the golden glow of sunset. Expect delicious cocktails, a menu infused with the essence of the Mediterranean and Café Del Mar-inspired chillout tunes.

Guests, visitors and locals can relax with a Sunset Session swim in the ocean saltwater lagoon pool. Find it monthly on a Sunday afternoon at Main Beach, including New Year’s Eve with fireworks!

SEASON’S GREETINGS

Choose a function room and celebrate the festive season with family, friends or colleagues for a special private dining event at the iconic Sheraton Grand Mirage.
