Our name, Lichi, originates from the 16th-century Cantonese word for our locally grown lychee – lai chi. 'Lichi' embodies our philosophy of using local, seasonal produce and reflects the Chinese concept of chi: 'to eat,' 'life force,' and 'the essence of existence that flows through each of us, uniting the body, mind, and spirit.'
