ISLA is one of Far North Queensland’s most distinctive dining experiences. Our home blends refined cooking with the easy warmth of the tropics, offering premium service without the pretense. Every dish is crafted from scratch using exceptional local ingredients, wines are chosen with intention, and hospitality feels as real as the place itself.

We are open Tuesday to Saturday and currently serve a set shared degustation menu for two (we’re happy to accommodate solo diners, too!). Located in the heart of Port Douglas, where the ripples of the Great Barrier Reef meet the lush inlets of the Daintree Rainforest, ISLA was created with community in mind. It’s a space where locals and visitors alike can share moments and create memories that last a lifetime.

We bring a casual yet elevated approach to premium dining—a place where everyone can experience a refined menu made entirely from scratch. We cook food that tastes like somewhere: fresh, bright, and alive. Inspired by the streets, markets, and kitchens of the world, every dish has a passport and a point of view.
