e wildlife park s famous breakfast experience is no exception. A must-
do visitor experience for over two decades, the world famous Breakfast
with the Birds has undergone a makeover and is welcoming visitors to
an all new educational and mouth-watering dining event for guests (and
wildlife )
is revamped early morning experience is part of a focused e ort by the
wildlife park to enable visitors to make valuable conservation connections.
Not only will keepers have participants interacting with colourful rainforest
birds, but at the end of the iconic breakfast guests can now hand feed koalas,
a species recently listed as endangered in Queensland. A new glass edged koala
enclosure is the showcase centrepiece of the breakfast space.
By creating extraordinary wildlife interactions, the team at Wildlife Habitat is aiming
to inspire travellers to act on conservation in their daily life.
Before the park opening to general public, breakfast arrival is 7.45 am, and diners
have a chance to take in a symphony of sounds and vibrant birdlife of the Wetlands
habitat as they meander the stork walk , an all abilities pathway, to Curlew Café. e
concept is simple but refreshing. Seating is banqueting style with up to eight on a table,
enabling travellers to make new friends and exchange holiday tales on the best FNQ
experiences. Each booking reservation is provided their own plattered breakfast. With
chef s mindfulness of food miles, sustainable practice and buying Australian, guests
dine on local produce from the surrounding area and food-rich Atherton tablelands.
Delights include eggs of the day, seasonal tropical antipasto, seared grill selection,
bakery treats, tea, co ee and juice. Although magicians, chefs are not mind readers,
so advising of dietary requirements at your time of reservation is essential please.
Reservations are required 24 hours prior to your travel date and seating is limited. To
