Samantha Meeting Samantha Martin, known as the Bush Tukka Woman,

was one of those encounters that linger long after the cameras stop
martin: rolling. I first connected with Samantha when we worked together
around Port Douglas on the filming of an episode of the SBS series
Taste of the Tropics that she had hosted.
Sharing the SecretS From the moment she stepped in front of the lens, her warmth,
humour, and deep knowledge of bush tukka captivated everyone
of BuSh tukka around her. With a laugh that lights up a room and a knack for making
ancient wisdom feel both approachable and exciting, Samantha is a
cultural ambassador whose connection to the land is as rich as the
flavours she brings to the plate.
