DAINTREE FAN PALM FARM

Daintree Fan Palm Farm is a 24 acre property located in Diwan in the heart of the
Daintree Rainforest.
Around half of the property is cleared and has two hundred plus fruit trees, chickens,
ducks, turkeys, peacocks and goats, our family home, an organic wholefoods store with
loads of goodies including organic pies (vegan + gluten free options) freshly made salads,
organic cakes and slices, coffee van and organic locally made ice cream.
The other half of the property is original untouched rainforest with rare plant and tree
species, rare birds, insects and animals that form part of the ecosystem including resident
cassowaries and mature 400-500 year old Fan palms. A boardwalk was built many years
ago and has been recently restored that gives you access into parts of the rainforest
that would normally be inexcessable with the highlight being access into a spectacular
Fan Palm forest. This boardwalk is open to the public for a fee of
$9.90 per person.
