CHRIS & BETH’S TIPS FOR GETTING
MARRIED IN FNQ...
1 If possible, visit your venue. This will ensure you find exactly what you are
looking for, setting the scene for your special day.
2 Book early! The good news is that our region offers an array of
venues; so whether you want a beautiful home, a rainforest backdrop
or the beautiful blue waters of the Far North you will be spoilt for
choice. However, make it a priority as places can book out quickly
and weddings in Far North Queensland are becoming ever more
popular.
3 It’s the wet tropics so be prepared for it. Showers can come any
day and last from minutes to hours. Make sure you have some
preparations in place should this occur to you.
But isn’t rain on the wedding day a good luck sign anyway?!
4 We are lucky to have beautiful scenery and backdrops, so use
this to your advantage – think palm trees as a natural arbour.
5 Choose a photographer that suits your style as these are
the memories that stay with you for life. There are so many
talented photographers each offering their own unique styles.
