Yalanji Arts is proud to showcase their artists and new works at four key
exhibitions in the coming months:
The Shape of Time at Artisan Gallery, Brisbane

First of a new regular showcase series supporting Indigenous makers,
featuring traditional craft techniques, storytelling, and cultural knowledge
in contemporary forms.
Cairns Art Gallery - Weaving Group Exhibition
28 June – 7 September 2025
Featuring Yalanji artist Vanessa Cannon
Ceramic installation titled “Homage to my grandmothers and their love for
Kakan”. Installation includes three large ceramic basket-weave sculptures
Work honours the cultural importance of the Black Palm Dillybag (Kakan)
in the artist’s family history. “Yalanji Arts is 100% Indigenous owned.
