Hook-a-Barra at the award-winning Daintree Saltwater Barramundi
Farm offers anglers and non-fishers the chance to lure and land one of
Queensland’s most prized fish, not only for its fight but also for its delicious
eating.
This fun and informative experience includes one hour of catch and release barra
fishing with all equipment, tackle, bait and tuition included plus access to special
viewing tanks.
Hook-a-Barra’s multi-species ponds are stocked with over 1500 barramundi ranging
from 50cm to over a metre, but don’t be fooled - these fish are wild creatures and
are not trained to jump on your hook, so our expert fishing guides are on hand to
help you perfect your techniques, land your spoils and learn more about this iconic
species. Hook-a-Barra is suitable for all ages and abilities with a huge range of tackle
and a fly-fishing option for expert anglers, plus everything a
beginner needs to get hooked!

LADY DOUGLAS RIVER CRUISE

Lady Douglas is a local, family run business, iconic to Port Douglas and
one of the first boats in the Marina. She has been taking visitors for tours of
the Dickson Inlet since 1989, specialising in spotting crocodiles in the wild.
The most stable boat in town, comfortable seating, a licensed bar, galley, toilet,
wheelchair and pram access and ample space to move around whilst cruising along
the calm waters. A complimentary beverage and snacks are provided.
She is the ideal nature viewing platform with protection from the weather, traveling
through the unspoilt mangrove channels of the Dickson Inlet where you see and learn
about the fascinating estuarine habitat. An award winning commentary is delivered
throughout the tour by the captain.
Crocodiles are seen on over 90% of trips, along with sea eagles, kites, ospreys, kingfishers,
herons and waders. Cruises depart daily from Berth C16 Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina.

Come on a journey into tropical paradise with our Eco guided Segway tour.
Our trail consists of spectacular beach, ocean and World Heritage mountain views.
There is lots of free ride time, photo opportunities and it is a great way to see Port
Douglas with family and friends.
Our beach tour is approximately 12 kms. The round trip is approximately 1.5 to 2
hours including the training session. Our tour group is intimate as we have a group
of five.
Our beach package includes your own Segway and Safety Equipment. We offer a
20 to 30 minute safety and training session facilitated by our friendly, informal and
experienced tour guides.
