Hit the walking trails at the breathtakingly beautiful Mossman Gorge.
It’s an easily accessible section of the oldest and largest rainforest in the
world and offers a choose your own adventure experience or guided
Ngadiku ‘Dreamtime Walk’ with the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people.
Trek the raised boardwalks over the forest floor and along river side
or up over the suspension bridge for a 2.4km rainforest circuit hike all
providing fresh air and lush scenery of prehistoric proportions. Don’t
leave without making a splash in the gorge swimming holes to cool your
mind and cleanse your soul even if it’s only your feet.

Sunsets never felt so good when relaxing under
the palm trees at Rex Smeal Park. Kids can roam,
rumble and tumble on the grass or playground
leaving you to kick off your slides, pop a cork and
chill. Take in the ever moving ocean view as charter
boats return from epic days at the reef and the
warm tropical sun slowly dips behind the Daintree
ranges.
6:30pm Dinner Time Baby!
The new buzz word in Port Douglas is Baby - My Italian
Baby, and it has got family dinner sorted. All dishes are
cooked with an extra splash of authentic Italian passion and
locally sourced produce. It’s a bustling main street village
vibe with some amazing specials like 2 for 1 pizza and
pastas on Mondays… Yeah BABY!

8:00pm Feeling Lucky?
Spot the rusty shack saloon that hides one of the
most famous Port Douglas nightly events. The Iron
Bar brings you the fattest, slimmest, ugliest cane
toads this side of the North Queensland border and
puts them through their paces in hilarious round table
racing. Your fam will be the spectators, the owners,
the jockeys and maybe even the good luck charms if
prepared to give one a smooch.
